This week we said good-bye...
...to Roger Vaus, president of Youth Development International. He was a friend. He was a good man who lived for Jesus. He was an example to many. He loved kids. He was a man with a vision. He beat us to heaven. He leaves behind a wife and two young boys
...to the flock of Calvary Fellowship Toronto. We saw them for the last time on Sunday, May 22. Good-byes are never easy. We stand in awe at what the Lord has done in Calvary Toronto in these short months. We love you all; we will be praying for you. And we know the Lord is not done yet....

We started loading the big yellow truck around 10:30am on Friday, May 27th. My good friend, Ken, flew up to help me pack and drive. Jim, Lawrence, and Sean also helped pack. We were DONE by around 7:00pm. That's amazing!
Candi cooked an Incredible Meatloaf for dinner, Cattie and Ken talked about spy stuff, we got a much needed shower and sleep.
Ken and I hit the road around 7:00am; we spent an hour at the border filling out the paperwork to bring our car into the USA.
We arrived in Virginia about twelve hours later and spent some great time with our good friends Paul and Joy Ting. Thanks for dinner, coffee, yummy chocolate chip cookies, and the two Hershey bars.
We drove into hot and humid Miami, Florida Sunday evening around 7:00pm.
Thanks for saying goodbye to us before leaving. You continue to be in our prayers. We'll keep updated on how you're doing through your blog. Please know if you come to visit the GTA, you have a bed to sleep in :)
