The Copper Scroll

Janet and I just finished reading The Copper Scroll by Joel Rosenberg. We've read all of his books, except Epicenter. I'm sure we'll hit that one sometime before the Rapture. We've become fans of Joel's. He knows his stuff. If you like end-times, CIA, biblical archaelogoy type of stuff, these are good reads.

The real copper scroll is one of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Some scholars believe it holds hints to where the treasures from the Second Temple, including the Ark of the Covenant, are hid. Rosenberg's book is filled with historical data that his fictional characters use to search for these treasures.

I love books. Today we went to Dr. Seuss's 50th birthday party. Here's a book everybody should read: Oh, The Places You'll Go.

Whenever we hit Thrift Stores, I look for burried treasure in the books section. Here's my recent find: The Twelve Caesars by Michael Grant.
